Review of Mesrine: Public Enemy #1 (2008) by Leanne B — 25 Mar 2010
Not quite as good as the first but still a fnatastic film and very well directed, in the final scene I was on the edge of my seat despite the fact I knew what was going to happen. Cassel is great as portraying Mesrine's downfall and how he goes from a young enthusiastic bank robber to a balding criminal who believes his own hype, much better than most of the gangster fare that Hollywood offers.
