Review of A Complete History of My Sexual Failures (2008) by Leanne B — 18 May 2010

This film has many good things going for it, Chris Waitt is startlingly honest and its good to see a documentary director give the sort of honesty that he expects from his subjects. There are also some genuinly funny moments as well as some poignant ones.

However this film is quite frustrating mostly because Chris Waitt is. He blames the breakups on both his impotency problems and because the girls are 'crazy' but fails to see part of the reason why is because he just doesn't seem to try at his relationships, he never writes back to Olivia, he his always late for Za and never marries Vicky.

He also seems to take that approach to filmmaking and as a result the film seems as scattered as he is. However it is a good waste of an hour and a half.
