Review of Mesrine: Public Enemy #1 (2008) by Pandy 3 — 02 Oct 2010
In the second and final part, Jacques Mesrine remains the bad boy who defies everyone, even in front of a court of justice.
He might have lost his silhouette but he never losses his spirit nor gives up, and he has the cuts to warn the authorities that he won't be staying in jail for ever. Then he tries to pick up from where he left to, and starts off being a womanizer, and jumps from one scam to the other, as he knows best. He gets lucky, most of the time, speaks truths, and has no fear of dying as long as he lives on the edge.
Once again the acting by Vincent Cassel is great, and the story will keep you interested. Recommended to those who really enjoyed the first part ;).
