Bizarre, yet wonderfully touching movie from Japan. Again the Japanese Cinema offers a movie which you have never seen anywhere else. Imagine AMELIE meets DANCER IN THE DARK... astounding, cute imagery with endless imagination, but tells a story of despair, violence and endless sorrow.
Really hard to watch sometimes... but this mix of fairy tale look and gritting drama keeps you really glued to the screen. See it!
