Review of Memoir of a Murderer (2017) by Icotzabb — 30 May 2023
This was a masterful study on memory, family, perspective, and the fragility of the human mind. Superbly shot and edited. Exceptional performances. In the end, it does fall into some predictable conventions plot wise but the journey is worth it and then some.
Anyone who has been touched by degenerative mental illness will be touched by this film in a similar impactful way. This is a film that no one should miss. I just wish I had heard of it sooner, Im a little late to the party.
