Review of Memento (2000) by James R — 20 Apr 2013
Memento is probably the best original film I have ever seen. Christopher Nolan creates this complex and super smart neo-noir film to be so involving that its impossible to look away as the structure either amazes or confuses.
The characters have decent humanity which gives Memento a lighter touch and brings the film away from structure and more towards substance.
