I don't know why people keep confusing this film with depression. I'm not afraid or embarrassed to say that I have stared at depression straight on the face and this is not depression, this is doomsday which much of us are afraid to confront.

If anything I thought it was a comforting film, there is no need to be afraid of what we don't know or what we are not comfortable with. I just saw a crappy film the other night that dealt with the same subject matter, but the film had absolutely no reason to be made that's why I did not bother to mention it, as I was too embarrassed to admit that I actually watched it.

I can not even recall the right name. Point being, I loved Melancholia and if I'm still around to reach that day, I would happily welcome it. After all the Mayan Calendar is about to end and even though I'm mixed blood Mayan, I'm not afraid.

As a matter of fact if it indeed is going to happen, then we don't have to worry about the national debt the next day! All problems solved including all the pointless brouhaha around the world. If there is a God, I'm sure he has and etch and sketch and all he has to do is shake it and start all over again.

If I were his consultant, I would ask him to do it now. Shake, shake, shake and all will be gone.
