Review of Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus (2009) by Mitch W — 04 Jul 2009

So bad, it's good. I had seen a trailer for it online one time, and I could tell that this movie was gonna be unpopular. Lo and behold, it went straight to Blockbuster. But I had wanted to see it anyway, so I rented it.

The audio quality was bad at parts, and the 3-D graphics were sub-par for today's standards, but it was that campy atmosphere that made it funny to watch even when they were trying to be serious (The chemical scene was pretty memorable).

So is this a masterpiece by any means? No. But the movie does deliver a final battle between these monsters, which is really why you watch it in the first place.
