Review of Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris (1999) by Graydon B — 29 Oct 2016
The last of the nineties Gamera trilogy and it surpasses the second and lands slightly on par with the first. The idea of looking at the survivors of a past monster attack and having a new creature based on those feeling of revenge and hate is cool, but I had to view it twice just to make sure I knew what was going on.
At times it never feels like it was explained in a manner that was kind of head scratching. And the monster battle at the end was very anti-climactic, almost grindhouse feel.
