Review of Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus (2009) by Michael M — 07 Sep 2011

You know when people say a film is soooo bad its good?.......This is not one of those films. The CGI shark and octopus were terrible and seen most of the time swimming angrily towards camera, repeated over and over again sometimes in reverse.

I could forgive this but we don't actually see much of them, instead we spend most of the time following 3 uninteresting people doing uninteresting things such as pouring fruit juice into beakers while nodding at each other approvingly or driving their military submarines as though they were driving a Ford Escort.

Whenever the shark would ram the sub, as we never actually see this (just angry swimming) we are told this through the means of shaky camera and some Star Trek style throwing yourself around as everything else around you stands perfectly still.

I feel bad for the poor octopus he hardly gets a look in. If your a fan of B-movies I would stay clear of this and instead wait until next year for the release of Massive Kangaroo Vs Very Tall Camel.
