A by-the-numbers thriller in which a deranged killer takes an interest in a real estate agent in financial trouble. Luke Wilson does the best he can with what he has to work with and Samuel L. Jackson entertains with a character similar to his turn in Lakeview Terrace - only without the depth and gravitas.
A bit of a mess and never really gets going until its ambiguous ending.
