How can it say "no director information available"?? It's only A FRANK CAPRA MASTERPIECE.
Talk about a movie that could be re-made (in the right hands) set in the present day. MJD poetically exposes the power of the media to influence public/mob opinion, for good and for ill, and how money is at the root of it all, and how one man's character - influenced by a conflicted but ultimately right-thinking woman - can alter the lives of many.
