Review of Meek's Cutoff (2011) by Derek S — 06 May 2011
Westward wagon train lost in an unmarked land. As one can imagine of 19th century pioneers, there's not much dialogue but there is a variety of silences. Survival is almost always top of mind and in desperation they capture a local native to lead them to water.
But the chasm between them is filled with suspicion and hysteria.
