I didn't mind that it was slow-paced because it made life on the Oregon Trail feel real -- the monotony, the hard work, the deprivations, the fear (often irrational) of the Native Americans they encountered.
.. But as the closing credits rolled, my husband and I both howled in outrage at the complete lack of ending. It felt like a rip off.
