Review of Medium Cool (1969) by Ahmed K — 01 Jun 2007
A wonderful film starring Robert Forster (who many will remember from Tarantino's "Jackie Brown" (1997), he was also in John Huston's "Reflections in a Golden Eye" (1967)). Also starring Verna Bloom.
Haskell Wexler was a genius with the fusion of images and sound - - this film tracks a Nation's fascination with violence and the media's role in conveying that trend. Set around the demonstrations in Chicago during the time.
