Review of Medium Cool (1969) by Matthew Z — 06 Nov 2011
Damn good, yet the scenes filmed during the convention riots in grant park fucking get to me. You can see how everyone is scared, and just all one can do is watch humanity implode. Tough to watch the wounds get inflicted upon their city growing up only occasionally seeing the scars.
I like that a work of fiction was able to by chance capture such an intimate view into nonfiction, It softens the shock, the brain has a chance at processing some thought. I think some studs is called as supplemental.
