Sean Connery has this wonderful ability to make the audience believe him to be everything from a smooth talking secret agent to a celibate monk, from a sorcerer to a policeman, unfortunately his powers seem to be failing him as no one with half a brain cell can believe him as a reclusive scientist.
Lorraine Bracco is equally unbelievable.
