Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Saguaro S — 20 Oct 2008
A very realistic, terrific gangster-movie with great music and an outstanding Robert DeNiro, but also Harvey Keitel offering a great performance. The film is agressive, intense, full of energy and is based on Scorsese's own expierence growing up in Little Italy.
One of the best movies of one of the best directors ever.
