Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Ray L — 05 Feb 2009
Scorsese is an awesome gangster flick director, after watching his newer mob flicks I was wondering if his earlier work was just as entertaining and it sure was! I have always liked watching the cool minded Harvey Keitel and along with the young Robert De Niro it was simply awesome.
Mean streets does not necessarily have a plot, but it is rather like a few days in charlie's (Keitel) world. Character development is beautiful along with Scorsese's choice of music is simply ravishing.
