Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Codie E — 14 Dec 2009
It's no suprise that Christian McKay's performance opens every review of this film, all of which is justified because he is sensational. And it's a bit of a shame that the film cannot live up to him.
It's theatricality is fun but it is ultimately throwaway. Also, as a very big Richard Linklater fan I was dissappointed at the directors absense in this film. Even his mainstream films such as School of Rock and Bad News Bears contain his unique voice and attitude, which I found lacking here.
