Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Ryan O — 14 Dec 2009
Artistic, with brilliant wordplay and witty dialogue, the sets and music create a great atmosphere with superb detail, and the acting throughout is fantastic. I think the pacing was spot on, the story may appear to move slowly but any quicker would not allow for the consideration and appreciation that all this work deserves.
Special mention of the top notch acting from Christian McKay portraying a scholar and a cad so magnificently. Loses a mark because Zac Efron sings and/or dances. I realise this means a film with him may never reach a perfect score.
