Review of Max (2016) by Matty M — 03 Nov 2015
At first I almost didn't watch Max (2015) for many reasons, one of which is it seemed like a basic lifetime movie which you'd see on the LifeTime Channel, and for the next reason was the cast. Now that I've watched Max (2015) I can appreciate the movie and it's story much of which I wasn't aware that the dogs were used in the military.
I can appreciate the film being made in dedication to their service as well as the handlers of the dogs; now on to the review. I wasn't wrong in assuming that it would be a LifeTime based film as it has all of the qualifications to be a perfect candidate.
The story-line was really nice, and I truthfully enjoyed it, the acting though well that's perfect for LifeTime and TV Shows. The acting wasn't that great, the characters were just not believable in their roles, and the start and stop segments were just not playing into the story that well.
It was a good movie, but it could've been a lot better. It seemed as an action based Lassie adventure for the most part, yet with a story behind it.
