Midnight Special (2016) was not the movie expected to see, in fact it was extremely slow and it never really had that big band at any point in the film. Midnight Special followed the "E.T." format with just a little dark feeling behind it, the movie was generic leaving nothing hidden; you could see what was going to happen well before it happen. The only fairly remote portion of the film was the few minutes at the end.

Midnight Special (2016) had a fair cast though it seemed that the script was so short or not enough to be worked with that the acting wasn't so good. You'd think that a little more went into this film but to put it pretty well and clear if you saw the trailer then you only missed the last 5 minutes of the film to know the whole story.
