Review of Master of the Flying Guillotine (1976) by Jake V — 28 Jul 2007
Awexome. As a kung fu movie goes, this film is damn near perfect. It has everything: great quotes ("I intend to kill every one-armed man I come across here"), memorable characters, great special effects (for the time), and even a coherent plot, which is rare for this genre.
Also, I suspect that the tournament scene was single-handedly responsible for spawning the Mortal Kombat series.
