Mary and Max is certainly not for the casual crowd or children. The plot is so strange if not creepy, but the directing style lets you feel emotionally attached to its characters. The clay characters are unusual but not in a bad way, more of an interesting way.
Mary and Max is a film that the serious viewer should watch.
