Review of Marty (1955) by Paul C — 02 May 2009
Had to update my review because I'm still thinking about this film. It pretends to be a romantic comedy when it's actually a film that looks at loneliness, what people look for to avoid loneliness, and the importance of being needed.
Chayefsky's first Oscar win for a screenplay is exactly that: golden.
