Review of Martin (1978) by John N — 18 Jul 2011
An interesting idea that lacks proper execution. Even though it has some nice moments it generally meanders through the plot as we see Martin walking around town disconnected from any motivating factor.
I felt like Romero used this film as a megaphone to protest what he considers to be ridiculous and irrelevant portrayals of evil in modern cinema. In short, I think "Martin" suffers from too much Romero.
