Fans of Romero and those who are interested in the beginnings of the modern horror movie have a lot to engage with but others will be bored by the slow pace and dated feel. When you compare it to contemporary large budget horror like Alien it pales hugely.
Never the less you have to admire Ramero's eye for modernizing the Vampire tale without the heavy-handed allegory or weakening of the myth we have had to endure since.
