Review of Manufacturing Dissent (2007) by Ricardo H — 14 Dec 2007
I have to say that Michael Moore does present more than a few good points in his films. However, there always seems to be a hidden agenda instead of just showing the facts. Facts can be manipulated to fit opinions and ideology, and that is what sometimes happens in Moore's film. Now, what I really liked about this film was that it was made by Canadians, so we don't have any preference for the right or the left, Republicans or Democrats, and I think it is definitely more important how the filmmakers were treated and almost manhandled than when Moore tries to speak to someone, they ignore him and keep walking, and he looks at the camera and sardonically says "I guess they didn't want to face the truth," implying that what he has to say is the truth because some people won't talk to him.
Definitely worth watching!
