This film is impactful because it is from the perspective of a MM fan who is suspicious about the truth of his films and disappointed to find out just how far he has gone to distort the truth and how diligently he goes to avoid answering criticims.
I didn't appreciate the MM films when I saw them, the propaganda thinly disguised as documentary. He has influenced the genre tremendously, for the worse. This film shows us clearly how he has done that.
