Review of Manic (2001) by Scott G — 10 Jul 2010
A low budget effort with a entertaining cast, zooey deschanel, don cheadle, and especially joseph gordon-levitt as the young offender going into a program, for seriously beating up a guy with a baseball bat, he puts good work in and shows where what type work he be doing later, films like brick, the story is well told, and its dreary setting, and low budget look help things greatly, another example of how interesting american indie can be.
