Review of Manic (2001) by Nick M — 18 May 2012
Even with its seizure inducing shaky cam visual style, Manic is an excellent showcase for young acting talent. With a breakthrough performance by Joseph Gordon-Levitt to anchor it and an early role for Zooey Deschanel there is plenty to give this lowbudget affair some weight.
