Review of Maniac Cop (1988) by Bill B — 30 Jul 2012
Maniac Cop is an entertaining slasher that doesn't exactly reinvent the genre, but has enough dark humour and a couple of surprises that keep it fun. No particular facet of the film is outstanding, but the acting, writing, direction, effects, and even the the story are well enough done to keep the audience invested.
And, besides, you can never really go wrong with Bruce Campbell. Well, almost never.
