Review of Maniac Cop (1988) by Dan H — 12 Oct 2016

I give this a solid 3 stars simply becuase it had a few decent actors and it generally kept me entertained for 90 minutes. I was somewhat disapointed with the death scenes because I was very fond of William Lustigs previous entry simply named Maniac...seems he likes that word. That film was full of notorious sex and violence, this seemed like a made for HBO movie.

If you're a Bruce Campbell fan, check it out, he's out of his usually corny element here. Also look for Sam Raimi as the parade announcer.
