It's the second movie in the trilogy. Lars von Trier touches the major themes of American history. Dogville dealt with help and thanksgiving. Manderlay deals with slavery. The movie is correctly done, but didn't touch my heart as did the first one.
Danny Glover has an impressive performance. The leading role could have been better played.
