Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by James O — 15 Mar 2017

This kind of movie doesn't come around that often. The movie really shows the grittiness of life after losing a loved one, with small bits of happiness sprinkled about. The acting was great by Casey Afleck and many of the scenes had a unique artistic style to them.

Visually stunning. The story was good, however it seemed to be flat with little climax. Characters were fleshed out very well. All around a good movie.
