Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Dorian G — 27 May 2017
Started out good, had some nice awkward humour, but then degenerated into a bizarre character study, although interesting. Definitely not an Oscar worthy performance from Affleck, he's still got a ways to go before I'd consider him great.
The environments and accents were fun, and the tough story was worth telling, but it's just not a film for everyone.
