Once the first twenty minutes passed, I was consistently entranced in the story. In a subdued and nuanced presence, Casey Affleck delivers a master class acting performance which ended up being my favorite male performance of the year.
Emotionally draining and yet rewarding, Manchester By the Sea is one of the most natural feelings movies of the year along with the best.
