Manchester by the Sea was another quality film of 2016. This film's cast was one of the best put together this year including Casey Affleck winning Best Actor at this year's Oscars. The script was also awarded Best Original Screenplay at this year's Oscars as well beating off stiff competition from Hell or High Water and La La Land.
The film is incredibly depressing but worth a watch for anyone who's interested in a real-life personal drama. The performances are first-class and the story is top notch.
