Review of Man on Wire (2008) by Alex F — 10 Sep 2014
Hands down one of the best films I've ever seen. Cleverly presented like a heist film despite being a documentary. Chronicling Philipe Petit's tight rope walk between the 1400 foot high twin towers of NY's World Trade Centre, this film is about youthful freedom, rebellion, emotion, art, expression combined in one INSANE Frenchman.
It's nice to see the iconic symbols of New York remembered for something in their history rather than their demise.
