A new wave mockumentary that ascends from a harmless, pop culture farce into a deeply disturbing portrait of society. Benoit Poelvoorde delivers an energetic and fearless performance as an intellectual serial killer who is followed by a documentary crew that capture his murders and day to day life.
This illustration of the media's indifference to violence is used, at first, to great comedic effect, but grows progressively more twisted. The line between dark comedy and just plain dark has never been so thin.
It's totally unique, well-acted, and well-filmed. Also some exceptional editing.
