James gammon's opening dialog is the best... "sure, sure the cleveland indians, hold on I got a guy on the other line calling about dry wall".
Its what made the 80's great... a hollow story line that would never happen in real life yet you beleive because you want to believe... that you can wear a leather jacket when you walk onto a baseball field.
