I was never such a huge fan of this film. Most of my friends liked it, but I just feel like it lacked a certain degree of heart or charm. It also felt so similar to bull Durham, that it lacked a degree of authenticity and originality.
Of course I enjoyed the wild thing and all the craziness that surrounded him but it wasn't enough to justify the movie for me.
