Never has the word "masterpiece" been more suitable. In this films case, the whole word needs to be capitalized. I can't emphasize it enough. This is one of the greatest films ever made, or ever to be made. This is the greatest mellow-drama ever made, and it is indeed Paul Thomas Anderson's best film.
