Review of Magicians (2000) by Elaine M — 26 Mar 2008
It's not offensive but the fact remains, there was really no need for this movie. Mitchell and Webb have themselves a comedic reputation to uphold, and this film brought out nothing but a couple of smiles, unlike the great Peep Show which is clutch-your-bladder choke-to-death hilarious.
With appearances from so many actors from some legendary british comedy shows, it's even more embarrassing that they weren't able to put together an even moderately funny flick, as even the premise had potential.
Stick to Peep Show!
