Review of Maggie (2015) by Thomas L — 08 May 2015
The extent of how bad Maggie is can't be explained easily using words. It must be witnessed by those who are curious. Mind you, this is NOT a recommendation to watch it, but a warning to those who would.
The length of Maggie aside, this thing dragged on due to the monotone nature and lack of creativity. There is more one situation after another with an eventual build to a bellyflop of and ending. While only a couple of actors in Maggie are recognizable at first glance, most of the supporting cast is full of actors you've seen in minor roles in major movies. Every actors hands are tied (including Arnold and Abigail's) by the lame story with bad dialogue. Any opportunity someone has to address this angle of Zombiism and the dilemmas created here in the future is ruined. Most people with this idea could have come up with something better.
Maggie has some of the worst cinematography I believe I've seen in quite some time. Disastrous.
If I was forced between watching Maggie again for some free concessions or Paul Blart 2, you can bet I'm going to be watching a fat man on a Segway (WARNING: this is NOT a recommendation to watch Paul Blart 2). Save your time and money. This includes when Maggie comes to a movie channel.
