Review of Maggie (2015) by Jake A — 14 Feb 2017
Even though narratively it is lacking and the script doesn't really flesh out the characters and the world which they are situated in enough this is still a decent enough post-apocalyptic zombie film that does something different with the genre by not relying on violence and gore but instead focusing on ordinary people caught up in an extraordinary situation.
It also features solid performances and the tone is thoughtful enough to treat these characters with respect, just a shame it didn't go further with its promising premise.
