Review of M (1931) by Oscar T — 29 Sep 2014
What a powerful, portentous film. Just a letter "M" that is the one the bums use to identify the serial killer. A dark Berlin, cops and criminals share the same kind of meetings. In the end the killer, an apparently insignificant man ask for understanding, he is a victim of the circumstances, of his own impulses.
The mob faces show all their hatred against the killer, but in the end the formal justice finds its way.
