This is a hard hitting movie where even today it still is a controversial movie where after a long hunt after the child killer, he claims that he is innocent and was forced to do this by a voice and says that he is also a victim.
When defendants plead not guilty by reason of insanity it often raises controversy, because there are those who argue that he should go to jail while others might say that he should be institutionalized to a mental asylum for treatment.
