Very intense biopic of Vincent Van Gogh. Kirk Douglas' portrayal is very good, and it stands out among his best. The supporting cast is also very good. Anthony Quinn pulls out a spectacular performance.
The cinematography is beautiful, as are the included paintings by the man, himself.
